Bad Beat :
This occurs when a player with a good hand is beaten by a higher-ranking hand. In a Four of a Kind hand, the loser of the hand receives half of the progressive bad beat jackpot, the victor gets ¼ th, and the remaining ¼ th is shared among the other players in the hand.
Progressive Bad Beat rules:
• Starts at $400, with $50 added each day.
• Live money tables only.
• 4 or more people must have received cards.
• Hold'em games only.
• Both hole cards must be used in the winner and loser's hands.
• No special rake is taken to fund the bad beat jackpot.
• 4 of a Kind, or better must be beaten .
• In the even of 2 or worse beats in the same hand, the jackpot will be shared equally.
• Half to the bad beat, ¼ th to the winner and remaining ¼ th distributed equally between the other players.
• This promotion runs continually on Texas Hold’em.
Rules:
• The Bad Beat Jackpot promotion is used only in Texas Hold 'em .
• The Bad Beat Limit is determined by the House, per promotion
• A Bad Beat hand occurs when a Player with a good hand is beaten by a higher ranking hand.
• The Bad Beat hand and the game winner's hand must be equal to or higher than the Bad Beat Limit.
• Both the Player with the Bad Beat hand and the game winner must use both their pocket cards to qualify for the Bad Beat Jackpot.
• To qualify for a Bad Beat Jackpot, the hand must be played at a Real, non-tournament table.
